Prof. María José Sanz, BC3 Scientific Director, and Dr Agustín del Prado, centre researcher, have contributed respective inputs as coordinator and lead author in the Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use component of the report.
This last special IPCC report entitled “2019 Refinement to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories" was approved at IPCC Plenary Session number 49, held in Kyoto, Japan from 8 to 13 May 2019.

La revista Retema especializada en medio ambiente publica articulo referente al último informe de IPCC donde se han desarrollado metodológias para redefinir las directrices del inventario de 2006. BC3 ha sido un centro de referencia en el último informe donde la directora científica María José Sanz y el investigador Agustín del Prado han contribuido como coordinadora y autor principal.

Between 20 and 24 May, the International Spring University (ISU) will be held in Bilbao, the annual international meeting organised by BC3 to explore ecosystem modelling services in greater depth. During the five-day event, participants from all over the world will analyse scientific models that will enable them to understand the relationship between human activity and the sustainability of ecosystems.

María José Sanz, ha sido entrevista en EFE Verde sobre la actualización de las Directrices del IPCC de 2006 para los inventarios nacionales de gases de efecto invernadero. La directora científica de BC3 y el investigador del centro Agustín del Prado han contribuido como coordinadora y autor principal respectivamente, en el Sector Agricultura, Uso de Tierras y Bosques, del informe.
