Research led by Unai Pascual, Ikerbasque researcher at BC3, and published in the prestigious journal Nature Ecology & Evolution identifies the critical terrestrial and coastal areas where we should focus our efforts for nature conservation

The impact of climate change on health risks associated with pathogens in our coastal waters is the topic of BlueAdapt, a new €10 million Horizon Europe project. BlueAdapt, with full name “Reducing Climate Based Risks in Blue Environments: Adapting to the climate change impacts on coastal pathogens”, involves 12 institutes from across 10 countries in Europe.

BC3 researcher Ainhoa Magrach has been granted a prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant to implement her project, “GorBEEa, Understanding biodiversity-ecosystem function and biodiversity-stability relationships across spatial and organizational scales”.
