Un estudio publicado en Nature es el primero que demuestra que es probable que los bosques maduros no puedan absorber el CO2 adicional emitido a la atmósfera como consecuencia de la actividad humana y, por tanto, tendremos que emplearnos más a fondo en reducir dichas emisiones. En el estudio ha participado Teresa Gimeno, investigadora del BC3.

Due to the abundance of sunlight reaching the Earth, the theoretical potential of solar energy is enormous, and the costs of technologies that convert solar energy into power have been decreasing 5 to 10-fold in the past decade.
