BC3 Journal Article “Conceptualizing Dimensions and Characteristics of Urban Resilience: Insights from a Co-design Process”

Resilience is a multi-faceted concept frequently used across a wide range of disciplines, practices, and sectors. There is a growing recognition of the utility of resilience as a bridging concept that can facilitate inter-and transdisciplinary approaches to tackle complexities inherent in decision making under conditions of risk and uncertainty.

BC3 press releases: Marta Olazabal of BC3 will spearhead the research to assess the adaptation policies of large coastal cities worldwide

In a competitive international process, AXA Foundation selected the research project of Marta Olazabal, senior researcher of BC3, to which it will allocate 130,000 euro for two years. The project will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of public climate change adaptation policies and the investments cities are conducting in this regard on a worldwide scale.

Klimagune 2019: Planning urban adaptation to climate change

BC3 celebrates the 8 edition of Klimagune Workshop. This year edition will address the challenges of urban adaptation to climate change, next 7th of June at Bizkaia Aretoa, Bilbao. Organized in within the framework of PROCESA research project and has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition.
