The Science-Policy Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) is holding its 4th session of the plenary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 124 countries are being represented from the five United Nations regions. The Scientific Director of BC3 Prof. Maria José Sanz has been selected as a member of the Editorial Board (Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry Sector) of the Emission Factor Database (EFDB) for the coming 4 years (2016-2019).
In November 2015, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) invited governments and international organizations to nominate experts to serve on the Editorial Board of the EFDB and Prof. Maria José Sanz was selected.
