To commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, BC3 is set to host two webinars on February 16, 2024. The first session, conducted in English from 10 am to 11am, will be followed by a Basque session from 11 am to 11.30am, building on our initiative from last year’s “Women and Girls in Climate Change Science” under the Emakumeak Zientzian project.

The biodiversity and global fire crisis have become a major concern. In the Mediterranean, woody vegetation has historically been grazed. To test the use of extensive livestock as a tool for changing the structure and composition of vegetation, we reintroduced herds in afforested areas.
