Sabía que un manejo sostenible de los pastos de montaña implica evitar el sobrepastoreo, que crea suelos desnudos, tanto como el infrapastoreo, que da paso a la matorralización (con el subsiguiente riesgo de incendios). Las consecuencias de ambos son el aumento de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.

Decarbonisation for net zero

This will require rapid reductions of emissions of GHGs, leading to net-zero emissions by mid-century. The seminar will explore the economics of such a transition to low- or zero-carbon energy sources, in respect of the investments that will be required and the resulting macroeconomic impacts.
