BC3 supports the Bilbao Charter of Values – Bilbao Balioen Hiria, aligning with the initiative led by the Bilbao City Council to encourage the commitment to maintain, strengthen and promote attitudes and behaviours according to the spirit and content of this Charter.

The support of this initiative implies BC3’s commitment to maintain and promote attitudes and behaviours in harmony with the spirit and essence of the Bilbao Charter of Values. This document embodies 17 fundamental values identified by the inhabitants of Bilbao as integral to the coexistence and progress of the city.

These values include respect for human rights, social justice and gender equality, as well as a commitment to diversity, environmental sustainability and shared responsibility for the well-being of the community.

Through its participation, BC3 underlines its dedication to promoting a thriving and inclusive community in Bilbao, guided by principles that resonate with its residents.

The Bilbao Balioen Hiria project aims to create a platform to analyze, dialogue and collaborate between a variety of actors, including institutions, social organisations, businesses, media, educational institutions and citizens. Its main objective is to promote a framework of shared values that encapsulate the essence of Bilbao’s collective identity.
