El Observatorio de la Transición Energética y la Acción Climática (OTEA) y el BC3 – Basque Centre for Climate Change lanzan una infografía para el seguimiento del Plan Nacional Integrado de Energía y Clima (PNIEC) 2021-2030. A la espera de que durante 2024 se apruebe una versión actualizada del PNIEC, esta infografía se refiere a los objetivos establecidos en la versión aprobada en marzo de 2021.

The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), offers a full-time technical scientific modelling position on the LIFE PYRENEES4CLIMA Project - LIFE22-IPC-ES-LIFE-PYRENEES4CLIMA/101104957 - dedicated to mountain biodiversity and ecosystem functioning to ensure that they deliver ecosystem services, goods and benefits and using the ARIES (ARtificial Intelligence for Environment & Sustainability) platform. BC3 involvement is focused on WP 5 - Subtask 5.1.1 (Duration: Oct 2023 - Apr 2027) dedicated to the development of a web application serving the modeled ecosystem services at the Pyrenean level and in the case studies (Pyrenees, pre-Pyrenees, and Baztan-Bidasoa regions).

The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), offers a full-time Research Fellow position. BC3is looking for candidates who can support its activities related to the analysis of the impacts of supply changes on biodiversity and land use using Life Cycle Assessment methods and other modelling tools such as Integrated Assessment Models. The selected candidate will contribute to different research projects carried out by the Low Carbon Research Line of BC3, in particular in the CLEVER Horizon Europe project.
