Anil Markandya, Ikerbasque distinguished professor and BC3 former director, has been ranked #12 in Spain among Best Scientists for 2023 of Research.com in the discipline of Economics and Finance.

BC3 restarts its ecomeetings, an initiative that was paused during the pandemic and that will be coordinated by Ikerbasque researchers at BC3 Ainhoa Magrach and Daniel Montoya. Ecomeetings are monthly meetings where ecologists and other researchers related to the subject can meet to talk about the latest advances in the discipline.

El grupo impulsor del Manifiesto Por una Recuperación Sostenible lanza el Pacto País para la Adaptación al Cambio Climático con el fin de evitar los daños, minimizar los impactos del cambio climático, fortalecer la resilencia y promover las oportunidades de una agenda de adaptación. Un equipo investigador de BC3, junto a organizaciones y entidades, se une al acuerdo social, donde también participan diferentes responsables políticos.

BC3 participa en FertiLab (PLEC2022-009252), un proyecto europeo de tres años liderado por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) que pretende lograr una mejora de la sostenibilidad en la agricultura a nivel territorial basándose en los principios de agroecología.
