Launched in 2008, the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's campaign UNITE to End Violence against Women is a multi-year initiative that seeks to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world.
The 2020 campaign, "16 days of activism against gender violence" of the United Nations System, is celebrated from today, November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, until December 10, Human Rights Day.
