OUTCOMES OF COP26 AND THE GLASGOW CLIMATE PACT

COP26 held from 31st October to 12 November in the Scottish city of Glasgow has been one of the most visible summits. The UK presidency of the COP established four objectives for this conference:

  • Making progress on emissions reductions to ensure that the goal of limiting the global temperature increase to 1.5C is met
  • Advancing on climate change adaptation and resilience
  • Mobilising the necessary finance to meet the first two targets, and delivering on previous commitments
  • Finalising the Paris Rulebook, which develops the procedures needed in the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

What are the outcomes of COP26 and to what extent is the Glasgow Climate Pact making progress on the goals established for the conference?

The aim of this webinar is to analyse the agreed on the Glasgow Climate Pact, from a scientific, institutional and private sector perspective.
