Technical Assistant – Tracking progress in the energy transition in Spain

The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) offers a one-year full-time assistant position in order to support the tracking of the energy transition and climate and energy policies in Spain that will carried out by the Low Carbon team in different projects.

The assistant is expected to:

  • Collect data and develop indicators of the energy transition in Spain.
  • Prove rigorous assessment based on quantitative information.
  • Write reports.
  • Flexibility to collaborate in different tasks and projects.

Experience/skills required: We are looking for candidates with a university degree and solid knowledge of the energy transition in Spain and expertise in data management and data analysis. Having a Master degree is highly value, but it is not compulsory Applicants should have excellent interpersonal as well as communication skills (both written and oral) in Spanish and English. An excellent level of Spanish is compulsory for this call.

 

Term of contract

The position will be for a period of at least 1 year starting in September 2020, with a probation period of 2 months based on the performance of the work.

Salary

The position will carry excellent conditions of work. The salary will be in range at BC3 for a technical assistant with a few years of experience after the university degree.
