Adif Alta Velocidad ha realizado una nueva emisión de ‘bonos verdes’, por importe de 600 millones de euros, destinados a financiar o refinanciar proyectos que generan beneficios ambientales o climáticos. La duración del bono es de 8 años con un pago de cupón anual del 0,95%. El diferencial frente al Bono del Tesoro español a dicho plazo se ha situado en 28 puntos básicos, reduciendo el margen de la emisión realizada en abril de 2018 en 6 puntos básicos. BC3, en colaboración con CICERO (Center for International Climate Research), ha sido encargado de revisar los "bonos verdes" que siguen los principios de ICMA (International Capital Market Association), donde otorgó a Adif AV la máxima calificacion de los cuatro niveles existentes (Dark Green).

BC3 co-organiza el workshop "El Cambio Climático en las empresas y la industria" junto a UPV/EHU y Funts Project el próximo 6 de mayo en la Escuela de Ingeniería de Gipuzkoa (Escuela de Eibar). Este evento tiene como objetivo ayudar a las empresas y a la industria a aclarar las dudas sobre el cambio climático, a entender el nuevo marco en el que se van a mover las empresas y establecer un hoja de ruta que permita a las empresa dar los primeros pasos hacia un nuevo modelo de organización responsable con su entorno y con el planeta.

Now available the seminar of Research Prof. Vanesa Castán Broto, research professor in the Sheffield Urban Institute, University of Sheffield, about "Changing cities in a changing climate". Researcher Castán took part at our annual Visiting programme, where researcher for different institutions came to our centre to give a seminar about their latest research.

Ignacio Palomo's proposal on "Transformative change as a response to climate change in mountain social-ecological systems" has been selected for the MRI Synthesis Workshops. A total of 14 workshop proposals were submitted and eligible for review, which was comprised of MRI Principal Investigators, MRI Science Leadership Council members, and the MRI Executive Director.

2009tik BC3k UPV/EHUko udako ikastaroetan eginkizun aktiboa izan du. 2019ko edizio honetan, BC3k, Basque Centre for Climate Changek, bi udako ikastaroren antolakuntzan parte hartuko du Bizkaian uztaila honetan; BC3-UPV/EHU Transformation, Adaptation and Mitigation for a 1.5 degree Global Warming UPV/EHUrekin batera eta Resistencia a antibióticos en el medio ambiente: origen de un escenario apocalíptico Euskampus, Neiker Tecnalia eta UPV/EHUrekin batera.

Eusko Jaurlaritzako Hezkuntza Sailak eta BC3-ak elkarlanean “Training Caravan – Ikertzaileak gelan” ekimena antolatu izan dute 2010. urtetik. Ekimen hau (10. edizioa aurten) BC3-ren Ikerketa eta Berrikuntza Arduratsua Programaren (RRI ingelesezko siglengaitik) baitan antolatu da.The aim the Training Caravan initiative, underpinned by the Science Education thematic area of BC3´s RRI Science Education, is to provide evidence(science)-based answers to some central questions about climate change, drawing on the best current scientific understanding and at the same time, making science education and careers attractive for young people.

Unai Pascual, Ikerbasque Research Professor at BC3 (Basque Centre for Climate Change), has been named to the prestigious Clarivate Analytics list of "Highly Cited Researchers" for 2018 . The 2018 list of Highly Cited Researchers, in a new Cross-Field category to identify researchers with substantial influence across several fields during 2006-2016 with production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% in Web of Science, includes researchers ranking in the top 1 percent by citations for field and publication year.

Implementation of climate policies and targets by non-state actors side event was organized the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) in collaboration with the Centre For Research on Energy and Environmental Economics and Policy (IEFE) of Bocconi University Milan and the Foundation for Gaia.

Alex Txikon mendizalearen WinterTopAppel espedizioan izango da BC3. K2ra neguan igo nahi du Txikonek; lortuko balu, hori egiten lehenbizikoa izango litzateke. Munduko mendirik altuenetan bigarrena da K2 (8.611 m), eta eskalatzen zailena; horregatik, eta ezbeharren kopuruari dagokionez ere bigarrena delako, "mendi basatia" deitzen diote.

Topaketan, BERCetako arduradunek Lehendakariari beren zientzia-lanaren ibilbidearen berri eman diote, bai eta gaur egun aurrez aurre dituzten erronka nagusien berri ere.
