Eusko Jaurlaritzako Hezkuntza Sailak eta BC3-ak elkarlanean “Training Caravan – Ikertzaileak gelan” ekimena antolatu izan dute 2010. urtetik. Ekimen hau (11. edizioa aurten) BC3-ren Ikerketa eta Berrikuntza Arduratsua Programaren (RRI ingelesezko siglengaitik) baitan antolatu da.The aim the Training Caravan initiative, underpinned by the Science Education thematic area of BC3´s RRI Science Education, is to provide evidence(science)-based answers to some central questions about climate change, drawing on the best current scientific understanding and at the same time, making science education and careers attractive for young people.

Radio Bilbao Bikaintasun Sarien laugarren edizioan euskal lurraldeko pertsona eta entitate lan ona aitortuko dute. BC3, Klima Aldaketarako Euskal Zentroa, Radio Bilbaoren (Cadena Ser) Bikaintasunaren Saria jaso duen erakundeetako bat da , kasu honetan, ikerkuntza esparruko saria. Saria martxoaren 24an banatuko da Euskalduna Jauregian egingo den ekitaldian, eta Maria Jose Sanz BC3ko zuzendari zientifikoak jasoko duena. Klima-aldaketaren kausak eta ondorioak ikertzeko diziplina anitzeko zentroaren profilari esker lortu du BC3k saria.

BC3-Basque Centre for Climate Change, klima-aldaketaren kausak eta ondorioak ikerketa zentro gisa, Bizkaiko Aldundiak bultzatutako ReActívate+ ekimenera atxiki da.Ekimena Global Action Planarekiko (GAP) konpromisoan oinarritzen da ekimena. Nazioarteko sare hori CO2 isuriak murrizteko eta Nazio Batuen Garapen Jasangarriko Helburuak betetzen laguntzeko sortu zen. Ekimen honen helburua 180.000 etxek eguneroko jardueretan ohiturak aldatzea, etxeko gastuak murrizteko, planetan eragiten dugun inpaktua murrizteko eta bizi garen lekuko bizi-kalitatea hobetzeko daLa inciativa se basa en el compromiso con la Global Action Plan (GAP),una red internacional creada con el objetivo de disminuir las emisiones de CO2, y ayudar a cumplir los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de Naciones Unidas. Esta iniciativa tiene el objetivo lograr que 180.000 hogares cambien sus hábitos en las actividades cotidianas para: disminuir los gastos domésticos, reducir el impacto que producimos sobre el planeta y mejorar la calidad de vida del lugar en el que vivimos.The initiative is based on the commitment to the Global Action Plan (GAP), an international network created with the objective of reducing CO2 emissions, and helping to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This initiative aims to make 180,000 households change their habits in daily activities to: reduce household expenses, reduce the impact we produce on the planet and improve the quality of life of the place where we live.

Ante la situación excepcional provocada por el Coronavirus (COVID19), todos los servicios presenciales del BC3 quedan suspendidos. Entre ellos, el servicio de atención presencial, reuniones, seminarios, actividades, etc.
