The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), offers a full-time research assistant position in order to support the assessment of the relations between consumption and wellbeing in the context of the transition towards a low-carbon society.

The research assistant is expected to:

  • Analyse the links between consumption of different goods and subjective, form and environmental perspective.
  • Perform statistic/econometric analysis using data from surveys.
  • Write reports
  • Flexibility to collaborate in different tasks and projects

Experience/skills required: The applicant should have a degree in Psychology or Economics and knowledge on human behavior and statistics/econometric methods. Having a Master degree is highly valued, but it is not compulsory.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal as well as communication skills (both written and oral) in English.

Other experience/skills valued: Previous experience in the study of the links between environment and human behavior.

Term of contract

The position will be for a period of at 1 year starting in July 2023, with a probation period of 3 months based on the performance of the work.

The position will carry competitive salaries according to the academic and professional profile of the applicant and excellent conditions of work.
