BC3 launches its ecomeetings – a space to discuss ecology

BC3 restarts its ecomeetings, an initiative that was paused during the pandemic and that will be coordinated by Ikerbasque researchers at BC3 Ainhoa Magrach and Daniel Montoya. Ecomeetings are monthly meetings where ecologists and other researchers related to the subject can meet to talk about the latest advances in the discipline.

The aim of these informal gatherings is to create a space dedicated to discuss publications, rehearse presentations, talk about concepts and carry out statistical analyses that can be useful to all the ecology community, not only within the centre but also beyond. (Ainhoa Magrach, Ikerbasque researcher at BC3)

The first ecomeeting of the year will happen on the 23rd at 12:00 pm CET and will be led by BC3 researcher Philip Martin, who will speak about the impacts of forest disturbances on soil and litter invertebrates. Click here to register!
