The BC3-Basque Centre for Climate Change is a Research Centre based in Leioa which aims to contribute to long term research on the causes and consequences of climate change in order to foster the creation of knowledge in this multidisciplinary science. This center is part of the network of BERCs – Basque Excellence Research Centers supported by the Basque Government.

Management – HR Officer

The candidate will work in the Administration and Management department of BC3, implementing the People & Training processes. The aim of the position will be to coordinate and implement the activities and human resources policies of BC3, and to support projects office activities.

  • HR policy management and improvement
  • Employment and Training contracts management
  • Labour and Science Law compliance
  • Working/living permits management
  • BC3 welcome plan management and implementation – landing
  • BC3’s working time management
  • Management of BC3 employees’ stays in foreign centres
  • BC3’s people indicators monitoring
  • Implementation of the HR module in BC3’s ERP
  • Bachelor, Masters’ and PhD student supervision management: Agreements with Universities, training contracts management, etc.
  • Employee’s training plan definition and implementation
  • Other project management related activities.

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Administration and Finances/ Labour Relationships/ Engineering.
  • Advanced Office software knowledge.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, Basque and Spanish.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new procedures/policies.
  • Team work and Positive attitude.
  • Problem solving
  • Previous experience in similar

The job position involves long term contractand, immediate incorporation, with a competitive salary in accordance with the level and responsibility of the position.
