Today, 8 November 2021, at COP26 Regions4 and Basque Centre for Climate Change has launched a new report showcasing how regional governments have developed, implemented and raised the ambitions of the

The report highlights the importance of going beyond the “business as usual”, looking at integrated adaptation strategies that include other actors, sectors, and those most marginalized, and generate resourceful means of economic and social development, as well as financing.

The report includes 11 best practices, case studies of success stories from members such as: Basque Country, Quebec, Gossas, Cross River State, Mancomunidad Regional de los Andes, São Paulo, CONGOPE, Jalisco, Catalonia, Wales, and South Australia.

The report also provides key recommendations for COP26.
