Jorge Moreno, researcher at BC3 – Basque Centre for Climate Change, has been awarded by the “EuroBasque Joven Investigador Sistema Universitario Vasco 2021” to develop a research project on the future of the European Union. The researcher has won the prize thanks to his proposal; «Accelerating the ecological transition: the European fiscal pillar», which will focus on the new border adjustment mechanism and its relevance within the trend towards the establishment of new own resources in the Community budget, accelerated in the wake of the pandemic.
