Gender Equality Conference:
“Science and Technology in equality“

Sede Building, Ground Floor, Scientific Park of Leioa
On Tuesday, November 7, at the Sede Building of the Scientific and Technological Park of the University of the Basque Country (Leioa) the open conference “Science and Technology in Equality”, will be held in the framework of the Forum for Equality 2017 led by Emakunde.
The BC3 Basque Centre for Climate Change´s Senior Researcher, Prof. Aline Chiabai, will be taking part in the conference with an invited lecture
This conference is organized by the Network of Technological Parks of Euskadi, that participates for the first time in the Forum for Equality of Emakunde in order to make visible the importance of incorporating the gender perspective in the whole path of scientific-technological practices, from the base of learning to the professional and business development with an informative, educational and business focus.
The initiative is part of the plan of actions of the Strategic Plan that is being carried out by the Network of Technological Parks of Euskadi to bring science and technology closer to society, to support and disseminate the role of women in this field and to spread and promote scientific-technological vocations among the youngest.
